This article delves into the analysis of the chapter “Being and Getting Drunk”, present in the book “Bebo logo Existo”, written by Roger Scruton; in order to understand the relationship between alcohol intoxication and the human experience in depth.Scruton investigated the possibility that wine enables a deeper understanding of reality when ingested with moderation and discernment.Based on a thorough analysis of the textual content, This article seeks to unveil the philosopher's arguments as well as their consequences for the fields of philosophy of mind and ethics.
