EXPERIENCE REPORT – TEACHING PROJECT ¡VIVA LATINOAMERICA! - CUENTOS LATINOAMERICANOS

This text constitutes an experience report on the teaching project ¡Viva Latinoamérica! – Cuentos Latinoamericanos, developed at the Ouricuri campus of IFSertãoPE, in which three academic disciplines were integrated with the objective of fostering a multilateral teaching-learning dynamic. Faculty members from the fields of Spanish Language, Philosophy, and Sociology collaborated with students to conduct a philosophical and sociological analysis of Latin American short stories written in Spanish. Additionally, students produced critical reviews of the selected stories and, at the project's conclusion, chose one of them to develop a script for a theatrical performance. In this report, we present the process of constructing this project, including the initial meetings among faculty members, the theoretical framework, the objectives, the methodological approach employed to achieve these objectives, the challenges encountered and the corresponding strategies for overcoming them, the impact observed on students, and some final reflections. This report constitutes the first part of the material produced within the scope of this project, while the second part comprises the reviews and the script.
